Since the eruption of Mount Pinatubo in 1991 the people's lives in and around Naculcol has changed dramatically. Their very foundation of their livelyhood had been taken from them and they were left with nothing.

Somehow they managed to survive the aftermath of the eruption and years of destitude and poverty.

Now HELP is at hand ! We from Botolan Wilflife Farm have made it our task to support the 84 families of Naculcol by installing a water supply system in their village. This will improve their daily live and they will be able to use their water more efficiently than before.

We are mobilising private companies and volunteers to assist in this project. The completion is scheduled for November 2006.

But there is also a severe need of medication, clothing and food. Botolan Wildlife Farm is helping here too. In addition we find it important to educate the villagers in relation to wildlife, flora and fauna.

Only if there is a natural awareness and an understanding that the environment needs to be protected, these villagers will have a future in this area.
